Welcome to the Wellness
Blog of Dr. Krystal Kinnunen
Before beginning her journey with medicine, Dr. Krystal’s heart first belonged to photography. She loves the way shooting photos places her fully in the flow of the moment, alive and ever present. Having a background and degrees in both Photojournalism and Cultural Anthropology, she is able to express her love for people by capturing their divine essence and telling their stories through the lens of a camera. She believes golden light, often referred to as Life Force Energy or Qi in East Asian Medicine, is the magic of life and what truly makes a photograph shine. Dr. Krystal allows her intuition to guide her as she patiently waits for the precise moment, when streams of light dance in the mist between the trees, or when you relax for a beat as if seeing that light kiss the earth for the first time. It is her intention through this work to assist in Awakening Your Authentic Self and capturing the moment when you spontaneously discover your truth of beauty and love. She loves to create a comfortable, safe environment by truly seeing YOU and Your Divine Light.

And unlike many conventional treatments, it’s non-invasive, drug-free, and designed to restore true balance in the body.

For many new mothers, struggling with low breast milk supply can be a significant source of stress and anxiety. Studies have shown that acupuncture offers a natural and effective method to stimulate milk production. By targeting specific acupuncture points, practitioners can promote the flow of vital energy or "Qi" through the body's meridians, which can lead to an increase in prolactin production—the hormone directly responsible for milk supply.

This is a simple, accessible and underground way to rebuild the paradigm of our world.
In today's world, the importance of men taking care of their physical and emotional health often goes unspoken. Cultural norms and societal expectations often discourage men from addressing their health needs. Not just physically, but emotionally as well. There are many stereotypes and expectations that encourage men to be self-reliant and stoic in regard to their health and wellness. These pressures can lead men to ignore symptoms or avoid seeking help, resulting in preventable health issues.
TCM offers a holistic perspective on health, emphasizing balance and natural rhythms in the body. One of the intriguing concepts is the idea that women's lives are marked by 7-year cycles. These cycles reflect physical, emotional, and spiritual changes that align with natural patterns observed over millennia. Understanding these cycles can provide insights into the dynamic nature of a woman's life journey.

When a creek or river is stopped up by fallen trees or the work of beavers, it causes a blockage in the flow of water. Oftentimes, the water in this area will stagnate and begin to collect debris. Likewise, when our body’s waterways have some sort of blockage, stagnation occurs which creates an imbalance. These imbalances can show up in many different ways; physically, emotionally, mentally.
